Media Work History
Head hunted through facebook, Yume got her foot in the door as blo – blow dry bar’s Yaletown blo boss. Addicted to facebook and twitter, (in between appointments of course!) she was immediately recruited to blo’s brand team by the founders to manage their social media. After 3 years of working as the in-house online media cheerleader, she left to explore other opportunities in the social media world.
Until recently, Yume worked with a boutique social media firm, Chatterbox. Yume expanded her social media knowledge and was able to be the voice behind numerous popular brands, small, medium and large.
“I am the voice behind the curtain, only with cuter shoes and better hair”. She says, of her ‘Wizard of Oz’ like mentality when representing brands on the social media front.
Currently, Yume is working independently for numerous businesses, building strategies, and executing on social media campaigns as requested.
